Why did Paul say like this?

('clothes-Jesus Christ')

Let me think what the role of clothes is.

In my opinion,

First, it protects the bare body from the rough surroundings.

Scond, it covers the shamefulness of naked men.

Third, it controls the temperature of men's body

Fourth, it displays the position of men, namely, social, political, economical position and so on...

 

According to this opinion, this phrase involves that;

First, Jesus Christ protect the weakness of men from the outward, for example, temptation, and attack from the evil one.

Second, Jesus Christ cover the bare and naked body implying weakness and shamefulness. This means Jesus Christ covers our sin or shamefulness existed in our own self,

Third, Jesus Christ appropriately keeps the temperature of our body, not too cold and not too hot. this means he makes men properly possess the cool intelligence and warm heart.

In addition, by forgiving, Jesus Christ unfreezes our obstinateness and warms our frozen mind.

Fourth, Jesus Christ makes the new position of men reveal, that is, men can acquire the new position as the son of God through the Jesus.

In other words, The new position means the change from the appearance of shamefulness and weakness to appearance of powerfulness and braveness one.

We become a new one by the clothes of Jesus Christ.

 

Let me tell my own story. When I was a high school student, we didn't wear a uniform, the clothes and hair style was autonomous. Because at that time, the uniform was black, so many people thought that it was vestiges of militarism of Japan. many people at that time wanted to be self-imposed control.

One day, a bad student in my high school pretended to be an adult and drank a liquor with his friend in a bar and they drank and fight each other, at the end, the bad guy kill his friend with a knife. This happening became a big problem in my school. Moreover the mother of the bad guy committing a crime said to his teacher like this, "If you had to control my son's hair style and clothes, that is, my son had to wear the uniform, that kind of tragedy did not happen. The students must wear a uniform"

So now I think the clothes protect us from committing a crime by telling the new position. We become the son of God by clothing ourselves with Jesus Christ. If we wear the uniform revealing the student position, we do not pretend to be an adult, so we commit less crime. I think.

 

 

In this sense, Jesus Christ is Clothes, and Jesus Christ is Love. Therefore Clothes is Love, that is, Love is Clothes.

Love is Clothes!
