What is to learn?

 

In Seneca's Epistolae morales, there is a saying that "He who teaches learns." In fact, The English I learned from middle and high school English is not available to use, but I have an experience to improve my English skill when I have to teach. I did not come out with the ability that I learned at school, but I felt that it really popped out when I was studying to teach someone. Because it was really mine that I studied to teach. So I would like to say that the learning of infusion formula is not helpful. When you are young like elementary school, you need an injection formula. And always, when you first learn something new, imitation, iterative learning is important. However, it is important to break up with the power of oneself in order to remain true to one’s ability. There is a saying, "Jultakttongsi(줄탁동시)." It refers to the mother chick and the chick pecking eggs from the inside and outside at the same time when the chick comes out of the egg. At this time, the mother chicken is only a small help for the young to come out of the egg. Nowadays, all the teachers are kind, but they have to do everything for their students. In my opinion, I think it is because private education is popular and education becomes like a service institution. So, nowadays, children do not like the teachers if they are not kind or do not listen to their needs. So, people who work in these institutions appeal to many difficulties. However, this method of education is becoming one of the worst. Just as the mother chicken helps a little bit, the teacher needs to help the students with a little help and the students try to break the eggshell out of the shell like a chick themselves. Then they will grow to be a strong, talented persons. All chickens who do not come out of the egg come to die.

However, how do the children understand "awaken by themselves"? because their mothers and teachers care all things and keep up with everything? Sometimes it is too hard for me to make them understand that even if mothers or teachers sometimes become harsh and strict, they have to have a willingness go through themselves by realizing that it is a method of education that is intentional.
