Pen and Sword
There are two main ways to change the world. One is a pen and the other is a sword. The pen means thought and the sword means power.
That is to say, The two ways are that one change people with ideas or the other change people with power.
If you want to change the world by power, you let people shed a lot of blood. There is oppression and violence. But It is the inherent power and voluntary power that changes the world through thought.
We wield power in principle. The principle is the sword. The sword makes a lot of blood and leads to violence.
However, the power of thought is not by principle. It is the power of thought that changes this principle.
So our country has emphasized the power of literature, not strength of weapon from ancient times. We have made light of the strength of weapon. We emphasized that the power of literature was superior to that of weapon. So the politician was a man who was fluent in literature.
But there are still groups that are trying to move the organization with absolute power. There is a lot of corruption here and there is oppression. But people tend to be deceived by it.
Anyone with knowledge and good ideas will challenge and seek change this oppression. Even if it is not easy, power is defeated, but idea is left forever.
I hope that the right ideas and values permeate organizations with absolute power and change them.
