Join-up

 

In a certain book I came to know the word, “​​join-up.” This means Monty Roberts' the way of train that mentally traumatized horses are finally overcoming their fear and alertness and following the trainer's words. I recalled my experience of riding a horse as hearing of this word. I have experienced horse riding as a group. I thought I would be able to pick a nice horse right away. The trainer, however, walked for a while with the horse and did not think to make us ride the horse. So we have to wait for a long time. The reason is that the horses have a lot of fear and fear that we will not be able to know what will happen if we get riding without training from the beginning. The horse walked with the trainer for a while and then the horse came to trust the trainer, and from then on, the horse let us ride on itself. But the trainer always came along with the horse.

Then I actually experienced the word "join-up". And to accomplish joining up with horse, people spend time together and build trust relationships. Then we will need time and effort to be together and close to each other in our relationships and with our relationship with God. We overcome the vigilance, fear, and build trust in each other.

I was amazed at the trainer 's sincerity to be with the horse and walk together to appease the horse. In relation with animals, we have what we ought to do, Then we have to ask ourselves about our relationship with men and our relationship with God.

Being together or Walking together, that's the best way to "join-up".
